Use the included tool to remove the back cover.

Install 2 AAA batteries into the compartment.

Press and hold "TEST" button for 10 seconds to switch on, and test if it works.

Press and hold TEST for 3s to adjust volume. The 1-4 Di sounds indicate different volume levels.

Place the water leak detector in the desired location.

Setting these up was a breeze. I just placed them near potential leak sources like under sinks and around the water heater. No tools required. Very functional little gadgets.The 100dB alarm is loud. During testing, it was definitely enough to hear from another room, which is exactly what I was looking for. If a leak happens while I'm asleep or not near the area, I know I’ll still hear it. These sensors are small and don’t take up much space, making them easy to tuck into tight corners without being in the way. I've placed them in different spots—kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, and basement—and they perform well on all types of surfaces, from tile to concrete. It’s also good to know they can detect small drips, not just major floods. Batteries are also included which is great.Overall, for the price, these water leak detectors are a solid investment for anyone wanting an affordable, no-frills solution for water leaks. They provide a loud, reliable alert, and they’re easy to use.

Got these to alert us to leaks in basement, and under sinks, and they work!! Send out fairly loud, weird alarm sound when they get wet. Alerted us to a wet basement situation and was very helpful. For the cost, can’t be beat. I bought a WiFi version of different brand for vacation as well (didn’t set up yet) but like the simplicity of these for being at home, especially if there is a power outage,

The leak detectors came pre-paired with the hub, making setup super easy. They’re highly sensitive to water and will alarm even with a small amount of exposure. The product was well packaged and ready to use right out of the box—just be sure the cover is fully closed. I tested the contacts to confirm there are several ways to trigger the alarm. The user guide was clear and easy to follow. Adjusting the sound level was simple and worked exactly as described. Keep in mind that how well you hear it might depend on your age. The setup was quick and simple, thanks to the clear instructions and easy-to-use app. The sensors connected effortlessly to the gateway, ensuring a stable connection throughout my home.

Easy to assemble and arrived quickly. Checked the alarms and the buzzers work. Fortunately, there's been no leaking so far.

Bought this for my basement after Hurricane Helene created a minor flood where we never ever had water in 20 yrs. I tested these are they are sensitive enough to have drops set it off or just getting wet as in a flow and these little guys are VERY LOUD - which is what you want. I also put them under my sinks and in our RV. Gives me a bit of peace of mind.

I have had wooden floors in my home for the last 12 years and I have had more than my share of damage to wooden flooring from water, leaks, accidental, overflows, sinks, etc.This was a great product for placing anywhere that you could have a potential leak or have had one in the past.I have mine one behind each toilet, one near the dishwasher, one near the washing machine, one under the sink.The funny part is, and I appreciated this they sent me twice as many as I ordered!Great product as soon as there’s darkness on the floor, it connects the circuitry which then sends off a pretty decent volume alarm. Not quite as loud as a fire detector, but definitely audible within a couple of rooms or within the household.

My plummer recommended these for my basement and bathroom. I was having issues with water overflowing. These monitor worked immediately and everyone was up searching for the alarm. It is very loud and will wake you if you are sleeping. Battery was easy to install and all you had to do is place it where you could have issue with water.

The water alarms easily fit into small places eg hot water heater and washing machine overflow pans. Very sensitive to water leaks to quickly alert their is a leak problem
