It just works as described. Many configuration options in the app. It works with the hub via Wi-Fi and w/o the hub via LoRa. Tested it several times with no issues. I even got a small leak under my kitchen sink and got the notification immediately. It shut the main valve off. Easy to install. Just line up valve's pivot point with the controller's pivot point.

We replaced this with another failed Moen Water shut off system. This is superior in many ways and we hope it stands the test of time. The device to device LoRa technology is impressive and works without power or internet. A super plus. We hope it stands the test of time.

This product was successfully installed in under an hour. It's app is very intuitive and easy to use. The water valve shutoff motor was as advertised, and a simple 5 screw installation. It is powerful enough to handle my water valve lever, which is quite stiff. Note: The water sensors in this bundle do not have an oral alarm. I did purchase 4 additional next-gen sensors with the oral alarms installed. This was also in a bundle with an additional hub, which isn't needed, but the cost was less than purchasing the additional sensors individually. They paired easily with the first hub and all work as one system!

The hardware was very easy to install. The app and pairing process is a little confusing, the instructions could be better. Excellent phone support.

I recently bought this water leak detection system, and it has been a game changer for me. The system is smart enough to detect any water leaks and automatically shuts off the main water valve. This gives me peace of mind knowing that I don’t have to worry about water damage while I’m away or asleep. It’s a fantastic investment for anyone who wants to protect their home. I really hope it lasts a long time because it’s worth every penny so far. Highly recommend it.

I give the YoLink X3 Smart Water Leak Protection Kit 5+ stars. It is just what I was looking for and it worked perfectly.I bought and installed the YoLink X3 Smart Water Leak Protection Kit, it came with the Bulldog Valve Robot, the valve controller, four leak sensors, and the YoLink internet hub. I tried to install the Bulldog Valve Robot on a 1†PEX ball valve. The mounting bracket had to clamp directly on top of the PEX crimp ring. See first photo of PEX valve. This didn’t work very well. If I tightened the clamp tight enough so the Bulldog Valve Robot didn’t move during the valve close cycle the crimped PEX connection started leaking. I replaced the PEX ball valve with a Shark Bite ball valve. This new valve had a perfect place to mount and tighten the clamp ring. See other pictures of the final installation. The wire you see in the photos holds the Valve Robot in a side position. I did not have room to install the Valve Robot in the upright position as the valve handle would hit the PEX pipe when in the open position. I did have one problem. After I connected the leak sensors to the Valve Controller, so they would work without Wi-Fi and internet, two of the sensors would Open the valve instead of Closing it when the sensor saw water. I called the YoLink tech support. This was a great experience. The technician was very helpful and friendly. He said I needed to reconnect the sensors to the valve controller while the valve was in the closed position. He remotely reset the valve controller and I reconnected all my leak sensors. After I did this every thing worked perfectly. I give their tech support five stars. The manual shutoff valve you see in the fourth photo is the original PEX valve I reinstalled in the PEX line. You can’t have too many shutoff valves!

Last October, while in the office, my neighbor called at 4:00 pm with the News that Water was coming out of my front door.After months of dealing with the insurance, adjuster, contractors etc. We said NEVER again!!!There are a lot of devices that will let you know about a house flood going on, but by the time you shut off your water, is going to be too late.We wanted a way to shut off the main water line as soon as a problem was detected.My research took me to Yolink bulldog valve.I must say that in my case the installation wasn't as easy as they show it. The sensors are very simple to setup. But we had the wrong kind of handle to close the Water incoming into the house which by the way, was like two feet underground. Our solution was to call the plumber to do the setup in order to install the bulldog valve. It wasn't cheap.Even though I love technology, we had been trying to avoid the use of a house automation assistant because of privacy concerns, but our decision of "Never again" was stronger this time and we went with Amazon Alexa as part of the new setup. After creating a simple routine I was ready to try the new system.The following Monday our maid went home to help us with the cleaning. At 11:00 am my wife received the call â€I'am in the middle of cleaning the kitchen sink and suddenly there is no water anymoreâ€.But of course, she was throwing so much water around the sink that it dropped underneath the cabinet and activated the sensor. Immediately, Alexa ordered the Yolink Bulldog Valve underneath the ground outside the house to close the main water valve. Bingo!!!After the maid dried the cabinet, I turned the water back to normal from my office.It just doesn't work better than this.If you're considering a system that can stop a house flood in its tracks, Yolink has it right.
