Purchased this cord to connect my generator to my house for backup power during an outage. Cord is very sturdy, heavy, and is excellent quality. It has no problem carrying the power to run my entire house, even a 4 ton AC unit, on gen power with no issues.

I did a ton of shopping around, and decided on this one. They all seemed about the same, but this was the best price and had the ends already on. I needed 26 ft, so a 25-footer would not work. This one fit the bill instead of jumping up to a 50-ft which was super expensive. I actually do like the plugins on this because they are a lot easier to use than the old style I used to have. They should last a very long time, and will certainly come in handy for hurricane season in louisiana.

It is a very heavy and solid cable, the only thing I didn’t like is I wish it had a bend in the cable where is connects because it pulls down when sticking straight out and doesn’t look super sturdy.

I have only used this to test out my new home emergency generator but it worked just fine. Seems to be very durable and a quality item (hard to find these days). Hopefully won't need it but they say it's going to be a bad hurricane season. Glad I have this. I like the 30' length as the 25 was just a little short for me. Very reasonable price.
