When my electrical contractor recommended that I buy a generator that had a 50amp outlet, I then had to get a cord that went to the house. I am not an expert but there are some things that I require when it comes to electricity - and with 50amps of power, I did not want to skimp. One thing was that it was UL listed and the other was the proper gauge. This fit the bill. A few weeks after purchase, the power went out for 3 days, so the generator was running 24/7 during this time - so happy to have this quality product as part of the equation. It plugs in well and requires a slight turn to ensure it stays put. To be sure, even though it is only 10' long, it is a very heavy cord - and not easily pliable...and that is to be expected with this gauge of cord. Overall, if you are looking for a professional grade cord, this will fit the bill!

Lugging a 25 pound RV cord in and out of the storage compartment at every hookup or disconnect can be a real back breaker! Also, when the weather is cold, it is almost impossible to roll the cord up neatly and compactly to store. This 10' cord is under 9 pounds and very easy to work with. I use this at home and on the road for short distance hookups and save my long cord for the parks with hookups beyond the reach of this cord.It is very well made, very durable and easy to roll & store. It is also easy to connect and disconnect with ergonomic grip handles for that purpose. Great product.

I enjoy the handle design on this. I'm sure it goes without saying it's heavy as can be. Little tight plugging/unplugging from things at time but this is also probably good.
