You kept the two probes very close to each other like a couple millimeters. Make sure your metal is clean or it will spark. I had to take a cell pack apart and put a new 32650 battery in the cell to replace one that was bad. I re-used the original metal strips and not the one that came with it. The strip that was in the cell was thicker than what came in the kit but worked fine. And it says don't use it while it's plugged into the charger but I forgot and did it anyway and it still worked. But on the battery pack it worked good and didn't run down. I needed to turn it up to about 3/4 power to make it weld

This little machine actually works very well. Better than expected. However, it's the second one they sent me. The first one turned on, looked good, but didn't do squat. BUT, They sent me a new one before I even sent the first one back, and it works great. Now THAT is great customer service! ðŸ˜

Using them to make my own batteries. It works good and it was easy to operate and quality made. Good price. It come battery built in with charger. It can move around without the charging cord as battery was fully charged. it works great for me.

Overall, the size is quite nice and easily portable. Wish the leads were more flexible. Upon arrival we noticed how nicely packed the unit was, and well protected. Shipping was much better and faster than usual. Quality is very good and appears to be able to last a long time. Buy with confidence. It's a good quality and dependable spot welder.
