I used these hooks to hang large Christmas ornaments from my ceiling. They are fantastic. They hold strong in drywall and can hold a lot of weight. It's also hard to see them. I have many ready for next year!

I expected the measurement to be of the inside of the cup hook. They worked perfectly as a guide for my quarter inch air hose, but it's tight!

I bought these to hang outdoor lighting under my eaves and on my deck. They are sturdy and screwed into the wood without difficulty.

These 1/2-inch hooks have short screws, so make sure you don't need them for hanging anything more than a few ounces. I bought them to hang my collection of wooden and glass "flying" toys, which weigh very little, from the ceiling. The hooks are perfect for that, because they're small and white and practically blend right into the ceiling.
