I'd call it a hybrid brad point/Forstner."Bat wings" for clean through holes but sill leaves a flat bottom when you just want a recess.Sharp!

The cuts are clean and sharp and spot on 11.11mm. The construction was Bette than expended. I purchased this to make maker paper thin bullets wads used in Black Powder shooting. Perfect.

Update. After posting review company refunded purchase price. So while there were issues with product this company is a great seller.Needed the 3.25 for a project. Bit wouldn’t hold center. Took a close look, outside tips were higher than the center so they would only cut once bit centered , but the center was same height as the bottom clean out cutters, so when the bit turns it just walks away from where it’s supposed to start. Completely useless. Maybe it would work in a drill press, maybe. Looked at the various ratings and it’s clear there are different items being rated , so it’s hard to tell if others have had this problem. Was a builder for over 40 years and also owned a cabinet shop. So I know tools. This is junk . Maybe a defective one. Just looked at the pics in the listing, much smaller bits shown. Which I had paid more attention before purchase.

I didn’t know why it had raised blades on the outside but soon realized it was to keep from blowing out the backside of the wood. Brilliant. Did about 30 holes in 3/4 inch particle board and it didn’t slow down.

Ich habe den Bohrer bestellt um für Decorationsartikel Löcher für Teelichtgläser zu Bohren. Dieser Bohrer schneidet sehr gut und präzise durch das Holz. Ich würde ihn immer wieder kaufen und weiterempfehlen. Er hält auch sehr lange seine guten Bohreigenschaften.
