We recommend using 14g wires for horn installation. Please check if your wire diameter is recommended before installation. If not, the volume and sound quality of the speaker will be affected.

Replaced the piezoelectric horn that came with the boat. I didn’t like the low volume or tinny sound. The new horn sounds great. Very loud with a deep tone. It was a very different shape than the horn I replaced, so I had to find a new spot to mount it and make a set of jumper wires. Not a problem.It didn’t come with mounting hardware, so I bought some M6 machine screws and lock nuts. The cover appears to be designed for M5’s, but M6’s gave me a more secure mount. I did have to drill out the cover to accept the M6’s. Only time will tell on the durability, so I’ll update this if it fails prematurely.

Bought this to replace the anemic horn on my Hurricane SD2200. This was a direct drop in replacement for the Fiamm that was originally in there.

After a an hour of testing wires I took it out of the boat and tested it with DC bench power. Got nothing.

No fixing screws or instructions, will need to make a box for it to mount too, if you are not good at DIY then it's useless as it happens I am
