When I take my senior dog for a walk, irresponsible dog owners that don't close their yard gate or stray dogs that rush towards us get a blast of this horn. They stop in their tracks and run away. Also, I tale it if I go anywhere alone.

We’ve got a neighbor that has a ton of large loose dogs that he doesn’t bother keeping on his property and we had a dog coming on the property every day. He was after us and our chickens. One blast of this horn and I haven’t seen that dog in weeks. Thank God!

I like to have items in case of an emergency, and I figured an air horn would be a good thing to have as well. We tried it out to make sure it worked, and it sure does. The size is small but mighty, and the sound is loud which is perfect. Good to have for emergencies, scare bears away, or whatever you need. Good product and would recommend.

This is a small container that is easy to store or fit in a pocket. I only gave it a quick test blast and it is loud! Save yourself some abuse and if you want to test it yourself, do it outside. I did it inside and got a second blast from my wife for scaring the beejezus out of her...along with ringing ears.Price is good and while I'm not using it on a boat, those who intend to should be happy that it is Coast Guard certified, so legal and good for marine purposes.Can and horn are well made and price for the can is reasonable. When you look at these, check the amount of gas included in the can. The more they stuff in there, the more use you get out of it. The smallest have about half of the 3+ oz in this can....some have double that.For us, this combines good usage with smaller size, so it will work longer but still is small enough to carry with us on hikes...or store in a pocket in the car.

Bought to bring along on our family hikes, which can include being in bear and bobcat country. This will definitely get someone attention. As loud as you would expect an airhorn to be, compact enough to fit on my jacket pocket, or to hang off my pack.

Not that I needed to but just out of curiosity I gave one of these a quick squeeze after I got them. So yeah, be careful where you're aiming these or you could give someone permanent hearing loss. They pack quite the noise into such a small size.

I've had air horns in the past, and they have always been smaller cans. Probably half this size. I try to always have one on my boat. You never know when you may need to signal for help and these are super loud. This is perfect for my use. It's a large can with a large horn. As such, you get a loud noise maker. This will definitely get someone's attention.
