I'm not a professional carpet installer, so I probably didn't use the product as intended. I used it to finish installing carpet tile by stuffing the edges of the carpet under the baseboard. After using it in my bedroom I saw a significant change in the look and finish of the carpet I installed. This was the first time I've ever installed any carpet myself, but if I were to install carpet in the future, I would use this tool again.Durability 5, Ease of Use 5, Value for Money 4.5, Overall 4.8 out of 5.

Thought was metal when bought but this nylon is solid and works great to redo carpet.

We had nails sticking out of our carpet around every single edge in our finished basement and all the bedrooms. It's a brand new built and I guess the carpet guy had really messed up.So I got some adhesive foam sheets (pretty inexpensive) and put them o top of nails.Then I used this stair tool to put the carpet back into place and it worked like a charm.Highly recommend this product
