Purchased this to replace plastic pegs that were thin, brittle and breaking. I believe these will last forever. Just be sure to measure your peg hole size as they are not all the same.

Got these to replace the old pegs we had in our bookcase and these work great. It’s nice they come with so many and for a good price. They look sleek and fit great.

The post will not set into an accurate 5mm hole because there is a small ridge at the bottom of the post where it was swaged to the L bracket. The ridge is 5.28mm in diameter. It required the use of a small hammer to seat the post (and deform the wood hole just a bit for the oversized ridge). If yours do not seem to go in all the way, then the oversized ridge is probably the culprit (but do check to make sure the post is not just simply too long for the shelving you have.

For any hole I've tried to use them in. Dint know there were different sizes. I do now, have no clue how to measure a hole that size.
