These are so useful, I'm buying them in bulk now to wipe out noise in many places.My home stereo system would make a LOUD buzzing, every time I keyed up my ham radio on 3.6MHz or 7.1MHz. Wrapped about 5 turns through these cores for every audio cable, and the problem is gone. Can key up the radio and no more impact on my stereo. Pure audio bliss again.I've also used these to good effect for reducing inverter pickup with SDR radios, wrapping these on power cables.These are great as chokes. The 13mm inner diameter (ID) is big enough you can get multiple turns of thinner wire (like RCA stereo cables) through the core. And the more turns, the better choking effect.Once you close them, the clips snap into place, and work very well. Inline, smooth, but able to be opened easily if needed. Nice design.I have a VNA, so was able to test these, and the resistance is as follows, for 5 turns of wire. I didn't go higher in frequency, but as you can see, the peak choking effect continue to higher frequencies, so these would be very effective for even higher frequencies.
