It's a great item durability is not that awesome but for the money it's definitely worth it and honestly operator error is what tore the edges up on the pad not the pad itself

I used 3 pieces of sand paper on pad and pad fell apart would never buy them again. Should have spent the money and bought festool pad they last a lot longer.

A good sanding disk interface is essential to getting a smooth finish with your orbital or palm sander. It give the sanding surface some "give" that help keep scratches and imperfections at bay. This particular one works great for that prupose, but unfortunately needs to be more durable. It literally fell apart after about a half dozen discs were used, but it is not expensive so possibly worth it? Four Stars

These sanding pads are top quality that equal the original pads. They worked fantastically with my sander and was very pleased with the results. The holes all line up perfectly for better suction. The soft cushion is a plus. I do a lot of sanding in my wood shop and definitely recommend these pads as they are an excellent value for the price.
