I feel like these are smaller than I expected. Are they supposed to be 6" long overall or open to 6" wide or what? These are about 3" between pads when opened. However, they work great and function great. I just thought they'd be bigger or maybe they send me the wrong set? Not sure yet but I'm keeping them because they actually work for other, smaller, tasks I wanted them for.

These clamps open a maximum usuable distance of about 1.5 inches. Meaning these clamps can only be used to clamp sheet metal and the like.While the seem to be high quality, they are so small they seem like a children's toy
