I love the preset filters as I am better at changing them for my turtle if I have these. It makes it faster and simpler to switch out often. The price is a good deal compared to the local pet store in my area.

They get clogged with debris pretty quickly...so idk if this means they are not as good quality or they are superior quality..Nevertheless, I will be trying another brand to compare..

Well, no so long ago, a box of 12 Tetra Whisper 10g, 20g & 30g Lg.,Med., & Sm., Replacement Cartridges were anywhere from $8.96- $12.59. Now Their Double the price and you get 2 less Cartridges. On the upside, they come already assembled and the Fiber Mesh Filter part is more Dense. Meaning more small particles are being trapped and the Carbon is of good quality. However, I own 4 Aquariums, Tetra Whisper was the Cheaper of lesser brands, inexpensive to to purchase, but you have to put them together, which i didn't mind. What i do mind is, that Tetra & Marina, filter Media has more than Doubled, and are not even made by these Manufacturers anymore, with the Exception of Marina Slim Cartridges, and they have increased recently from 9 3pk Cartridges from as low as $6.86 to $16+, and yes they do have another manufacturer that make these same size cartridges, but their even more expensive. Marketing and Targeting Maybe? In all this, is a very good Quality, if not better than the original Tetra Whisper Filter replacements, on the account, they come assembled and you can see a small significant clarity in your Aquarium, however they don't last as long, do to the more waste it traps. Tip: On all of the filters i mentioned above, if you rinse them out thoroughly with warm water and place them in the Sun for a full 24hrs. They recharge and are good to go. I've gotten 3 time the use out of each 1, however the 3rd time, doesn't last that long. In the End, i have a Tidal 75 that i can use, but too many issues, not do to the product. I hope this Review has been helpful and informational, to keep your Aquariums clean and Fishies Happy. I've been an Aquarist now for over 40 years. These filters from this seller are by far the best Iv purchased and Iv purchased many brands. They’re even far better than the tetra brand the come with the filter. They’re packed great in an easily stored box, no wasted carbon all over the place in the box and water flows through them perfectly. The amount of carbon in the filters is just the right amount. I go through these large filters pretty regularly because I have goldfish tanks and they need good filtration. These are the the filters I’ll be purchasing in the future if nothing changes.
