Installed underhood in an automotive application. The circuit pulled a peak of 20 amps, 10-15 sustained. Used it one time and the breaker tripped in maybe 5min of use and unable to reset. JUNK - JUNK

I installed this breaker to protect the wiring from a battery. It installed well and seems to be good for my project. Not great Quaility but at the price point a good value. One issue I found is the hex (Allen) set screws that retain the wire connection should us a 3mm hex tool to tighten. My issue was the 3mm tool didn't fit. I tried a 1/8 and 7/64 tool which are either side of 3mm and neither of them worked. I suspect that the plating on the set screws adds about 2 to 3 thousands of an inch (0.05 to 0.10mm) which prevents the tool from being inserted. I had a warn out 3mm tool and with just a scant of width removed it seemed to seat well enough to tighten the set screws.

I should have read the reviews on Amazon BEFORE purchasing and installing this “thing†in my motorhome solar power system. I learned about them from a YouTube video. I actually have four of these in my system - two 80A’s on my solar controller: panels to controller and controller to batteries, a 150A between the batteries and a 1000w inverter and a 60A between the batteries and generator. The system and these breakers are only a month old. The 80A between the controller and batteries has tripped too many times to count. This line has never come near 80 amps. I was watching the Blue Tooth readout and saw about 55 amps passing through the breaker when I heard the click of the breaker and saw the power drop to ZERO. The 150A breaker has also tripped twice for no understandable reason. That line can’t produce more than 83amps (1000watts at 12volts)I’m replacing these lousy breakers with Cooper Bussman (CB) breakers. Yeah they cost twice the price, but I know from experience that they are dependable. I had CB’s on my travel trailer solar power system for five years and never experienced inadvertent tripping. Wish I had gone with my instincts instead of some guy’s recommendation who I don’t even know. My advice is to stay far away from these breakers.

Installed these during a repower of our pontoon - worked like a charm! Very simple to install inline and has no fuses to blow. To reset, it’s just a simple flip of the switch.No build quality issues like some reviewers have stated - might have gotten a revised product design or something. Easy to mount as well!Strongly recommend these for any marine inline electrical work!

I needed this circuit breaker to connect the air compressor for my air horns on my Ford Ranger, probably should have gotten a bigger amp because it does pop if the compressor has to run for a long time which isn’t a problem because it has a switch on it to reset if I need to, It is the best alternative for the bus fuses for a Battery positive cable! It was very easy to install especially with the heavy gauge wire

Haven’t had one problem so far it hasn’t kicked out yet works perfectly so far and I have it on my bike hooked to a 1000 watt amp love it
