I work with UV resins and the process involved has high levels of VOCs that get airborne. When I swapped out my 3M branded filters for these I could not smell any VOCs while wearing my respirator. So far the primary filters are lasting as long as the 3M ones did and the secondary is holding up well, too.

I don't have any fancy testing equipment, so pretty much every statement I make is purely on how the filters SEEM to work. That said, they seem to work just fine. Price competitive with similar items. In my case, as I have a no-name generic respirator from a local hardware store, these were a VERY snug fit, not entirely sure I'll be able to get them off without breaking something. Kind of had the same issue with other cartridges I've tried, either way too tight or almost too loose to function. I mainly use these with airbrushing alcohol and lacquer based paints and inks and occasional electronics soldering. While still new-ish, they cut down on smell a bit, and the replaceable filters seem to be doing their job as no visible color has managed to get it's way to the plastic under it.Pretty much all the text present with the cartridges is in chinese, with the exception of the expiration date (clearly labeled in english on the sealed foil bag).

I was very skeptical but they work. I compare it to the name brand disc filters which are poor.

I bought these filters thinking that they would be equivalent to the same type of product 3M makes. These do NOT filter what they claim. I could clearly smell the organic vapor through the filters, even though it was a brand new vacuum sealed pair. Do not buy these, do not risk your health. These filters should be removed from Amazon.

It is very fragile. One of them broke in half when I was taking off the mask.
