I bought several of these for solar installation instead of using a shunt which works just once and then you have to replace it. Mini solar installation guides leave out that you should have a breaker in between multiple circuits to keep fire from starting and to keep you from getting zapped from a live panel.

Item did not work! I hooked this breaker in parallel with a 60 amp fuse and the fuse blew. Then I tested the breaker by shorting directly to a 12 volt battery and it did not disconnect but rather gave me 4th of July fireworks!! Don’t buy…garbage!

Inexpensive way to protect your trolling motor. The wire lugs are of a good quality.

Used this to rewire fishing boat. Old trolling motor wiring was too small with no circuit protection. Apparently, it came from the factory this way.. Just trying to do it right.

Attached to van battery and ran 2 heavy cables to inverter plugged into mini fridge. Now can easily turn off the cables at the battery and not worry about cables shorting somewhere.
