I bought this based on the good reviews and seems that Now there are more issues reported. Mine works for the first month. Winter started and I removed it from the pool, so the robot and cable spent the next month on my garage. Now I plugged it back in and it was not working. Swapped for a different cable, problem solved. Do not waste your money here please!

Purchased in November 2024. It has been used very little since it is the end of our swim season and our pool is in a screened enclosure. We leave our pool open year round and keep the chemicals balanced and run the pump. My spouse ran the robot today and noticed it keeps tipping over, getting stuck on steps, and stopping altogether. He found some internet reviews that state that the floats are different on the replacement cable than the original cable. We are looking for a way to mitigate the problem with a cable that doesn’t work properly. This cable was advertised as being specifically for our robot, Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus that we purchased in 2018. We just happen to still have the old cable so my spouse is trying the floats from the old cable on the new cable.

High quality drop-in replacement at a very good price. There is one issue that is easily resolved: The 2 blue floats are on the wrong side of the white swivel. In that position, the floats cause the Nautilus to sometimes flip over backwards. I moved the floats to the OEM position of my old cable and all is well.

Great product. Fit my Nautilus CC perfectly. The old cord had water intrusion and the robot would stop after 30-60 seconds. This cord is longer than factory and seems to be sealed and built better, which is great. I had to slide the floats up cord due to the depth of my pool to keep the robot from standing up. The floats come apart with a small pick. Very happy to save money with this product.

I purchased this particular cable for my Maytronics Nautilus CC Plus robot because of the price and the appearance online of its similarity to the OEM product. The reviews looked pretty good for this product. I on receiving the product, I examined it closely, and it looked like a dead ringer for the OEM product. I installed the product and used it the first time successfully. The robot performed well with the first use. I took the robot from the pool, cleaned the filters, reinstalled them, and put the robot back in the pool, turned it on and walked away, expecting that the robot would perform its normal one hour cleaning. I returned to find that the robot has not moved while the power supply indicated that the cycle was still running. I turned the power supply off, removed the robot from the pool, rechecked everything and put the robot back in the pool. Turned the power supply back on and initiated a cycle, and again the robot didn’t move. I repeated this again, and again it did not move. I cannot help but assume that the cable is defective.

The replacement cord is perfectly fine - 5 stars on the item, however it's certainly not "plug-and-play" as other reviews indicate. Plan to spend about an hour to disassemble the Nautaliss and install the replacement assuming you're handy.
