These appear to be durable and strong enough to support shelves with heavy items on them. Just make sure you follow the manufacturer's instructions and get the correct size for your shelf hole. These were a little too small to fit into the shelf hole without falling out. I tried putting some broken wood toothpicks into the holes with the pegs and then used wood glue to "cement" them in. It works fine but I should have ordered the quarter inch size instead of the 5mm size. Still, I believe it is a good product.

Our cabinets currently had those little plastic pegs and, depending on which side the shelf was favoring, the stability was in serious danger. I wasn't sure how to measure the holes in the cabinet in order to purchase the right types of pegs so my husband suggested getting our drill bits and then using them to determine the drilled hole size. We did that and ours appeared to be 11/56ths (roughly 1.78"). I was a little hesitant purchasing these because I thought the peg would be too big for the hole. They actually fit perfectly and the shelves are now more stable. We used primarily the L shaped ones for extra support. Our only complaint is a few of the brackets weren't like identical. Example, we installed 4 for one shelf and when we slid the wood shelf back in place on them, it only hit 3 of the 4 pegs. We replaced that one peg and then it all fit. We installed 20 pegs today and two of them were like this. When we compared these two oddballs to the other pegs, the horizontal piece (where the shelf sits on) was just a little further down than the other pegs. Still very happy w/ the purchase though.

Often when I’m in need of shelf pegs or supports, I run to the local hardware store. They only sell these in small quantities. I don’t want to have to make a run to the store every-single-time I need these, not that I need them very often. I did run into a project where I needed a dozen of these. I found these on Amazon – 60 shelf pegs & supports. You get 30 of each type, one is an “ L “ support, the other is a spade type. I was holding thick pressed board so I opted to use the “ L “ ones. The cabinet I put these in had adjustable holes but they were too small. I fixed this by finding a drill bit very close to the size of these and redrilling holes. Presto – change-o! I would have paid $5-6 at the store, plus my time to/from the store and with ‘just enough’. This package, I got more than plenty and the price for ‘bulk’ was only $6. I’m very happy with this item – just as good as the store-bought and it saved the day!

No complaints! If this is the right size for you, this is a large number of items that you can probably loose a few and still have enough for your needs. No burrs or problems with the manufacturing. Seems to be quite useful.

When I was putting some items away in my mother's cabinet for her and the shelf collapsed, I knew it was way beyond replacement time for her inadequate shelf clips. The "L" brackets in this kit worked great as replacements. They're strong and the length was perfect for providing the support the shelves needed. She has A LOT of stuff on her shelves-more than the average person, I think. We did have to drill the existing holes a tiny bit to accept the new clips, which means that the shelves are not adjustable now unless we drill the other holes out as well, but since she has had them in the same position for 35 years now, that's not likely to be an issue for us.We'll hang onto the peg style clips since we don't need them at the moment but they seem to be well made and strong, just as the "L" brackets are. I do think these brackets are a good value for the money. They were easy to use (install).

Frankly, the volume of parts is impressive enough. You have standard pegs and L bend brackets for more weight bracing shelves.A lot of the old fixtures I had to replace were plastic or had lost pegs prior to me obtaining them.Functionally, these replace and support your exact needs. They fit well, and it's nothing you can't personally adjust if something is slightly out of place.Everything is straight forward and easy to prepare, you wouldn't be picking these up if you didn't have specific projects in mind.Im confident in these holding the expected weight, they don't feel flimsy or like a metal that would be too weak for shelving. There is also nothing from stopping you from drilling additional holes.
