Elevate Outdoor 68" W Truck Bed Unloader

When you regularly transport large quantities of loose material in your truck bed, you understand the value of working smarter, not harder. The Elevate Outdoor 68” W Truck Bed Unloader features a 15' geotextile fabric mat that lays the length of your truck bed and acts like a manually-operated conveyor belt to get material out of your truck bed with ease.
The truck bed unloader has a 68” W roller bar and comes with tailgate clamps to fit tailgates from 0.75" to 6" thick. The included 1.5" nylon straps secure it to your bumper, and once in place, it supports and moves loads up to 2,000 lbs.

I have a trailer that is almost exactly the same width as the matting of this device. I had to customize the mounting configuration extensively for my use. I had a socket welded into the opposite side as the crank handle was setup for. Initially I loaded the trailer up with horse manure and tried to use a battery impact driver to cause the roller to unload the manure. Even though my impact driver was a 20 volt high capacity model it wouldn't move the matting so I used my 1/2" drive rachet wrench and that worked prettty well. I noticed that the effort to wind up the roller with the rachet was minimal so I decided to use my standard 20 volt drill motor to see if it could move the matting. Whoa there-this spun the rolled matting up and dumped the manure in seconds. So, so far I'm really satisfied with my installation and how well and quickly I can dump a load.

The metal used for wrapping net around and pulling load out isn't rugged enough.. handle ripped end off like a tin can.

I have horses so I use this for my horse poop. I can simply pull out canvas & shovel my horse poop directly onto the canvas. I will do this daily after cleaning stalls & every three days I simply use the handle to Crank the canvas & it roll the poop right off the back of my pickup. Its very easy to crank.

Had high hopes for this after a different bed unloader didn't have clamps that would fit over the tailgate. Everything came well packed and assembly was easy. We loaded the back of the truck with out 1300lbs of wet leaves and as soon as we started to crank the metal main pole tore, as shown in the pictures. If this hadn't happened on the first try, my review would be alot better. I don't have faith it could really unload 2k lbs of stuff. Will try and fix. A new pole would be good, but concerned the same thing would happen.
