I'm pretty tough on these using them for raku firing and these hold up just fine. Not sure how accurate they are but they are great for my needs.

This unit is fairly accurate, I would say to within a few tenths of a degree. Interesting though, both probes do not measure exactly the same in the same environment. When I checked calibration they were both off a tenth or two from the standard. Overall, for the price this is a good unit and I would not expect more.

Calibrating my hot end seemed a bit tricky this time and now I know why. This piece of junk is way off specks after a few months. Measuring way too low to work. Save your money and don't buy this one.
