I got these PWM switches to control the brightness of small 12 volt LED lights. All 6 of mine worked fine during my bench tests. You need to isolate the power ground from the load ground, a common ground does not work with these PWM switches. These PWM switches ship with 6 washers, 6 mounting nuts, and 6 plastic control knobs. There is an On/Off position when the control knob is turned fully counterclockwise. A small red LED on the circuit board lights up when the switch is turned On. The 3-15 jumper on the backside of the circuit board did not seem to make any visible difference in my application, so I left it unconnected. Very reasonably priced PWM switches.

These work well, but do not accidently reverse polarity or they blow. The cannot assume a common ground on the output, you must use both output lines to the led, and don't tie either to any other part of a circuit. I use these in all my boat LEDs as dimmers; so far so good, once they are hooked up.

I bought these to control some little 12v "hobby" motors (linked in this message) for a DIY stir plate. The controller works smoothly from off to max and there is no lag on the pot that I can pick up.Great value!https://www.amazon.com/EUDAX-Generator-Electric-Turbine-Cranked/dp/B078MSFFH5

Bought for some 3d printed models I made, they work great for metering voltage

I've been using 3 for a couple weeks now 24 hours a day to control fan speed. All 3 are working as designed so I'm happy. Also the boars are clean, no cold solder joint or under/over soldered joints.

When I wired one of these up, It was not providing constant power, rather it was flashing on and off. I found out that the culprit was a poorly soldered surface mount component that had come loose on one end. This is something that I can fix before implementing in my design, but it won't be something that everyone can do. 2 of the 6 units that I visually inspected had this problem.
