I left a bad review of this product previously but decided to try one again to control a new fan. This one works perfectly. I don't know if they fixed their quality control or if I just got lucky, but this one works.

Very simple to use. Just plug in start the drill press switch to the speed you need and get r done, low cost, convenient hanging loop.

This works well and as described. Lacks the complete performance that I expected. That's on me, and it's the only reason that I give it 4 stars. I'm using it to control the speed of a high speed Makita die grinder. I've gone as long as 4 hours of use, and the speed control needs adjusting to decrease speed over time.I have attempted to use with a Dremel rotary tool with no success. That may be my tool, but I thought I'd mention that.

What I was most surprised at is when this did not work at what I had purchased it for, I then hooked it up to a variable speed router and tried to adjust the speed. Nope. In fact it actually would cut the voltage just enough on the low end to cut in and out like it had a cylinder missing out... Sent back.

This product looks right but when in use there’s a very small window speed change that is too subtle to make a difference. The high and medium settings don’t change anything when lowering the speed. Product is false advertising.
