I have never had a springform pan, and I'm 85 years old. I've passed so many recipes over because they called for a springform pan. No more passing over. This is a really nice, heavy duty pan. I got the parchment papers to go in the bottom of it to reduce the chance of leakage.

I just baked my 1st cheesecake in it at Christmas. It came out perfect. No leaks and easily cleans in the dishwasher. I'm very happy with this spring pan!

My wife had been complaining that my regular steel spring forms have some rust on them especially where the bottom plate fits in so I've been replacing them with stainless as the need arises. I just bought this pan for a Pumpkin Cheesecake and it worked flawlessly, very happy with the pan and it came out of the dishwasher perfectly so now I won't have to hear anything more about rust. I would buy another of these without hesitation.
