I really enjoyed using this springform mold to make a bienenstich. I oiled it, but did not use parchment and I am glad there is a kind of ditch around this mold edges that prevented the extra juice topping to burn on the bottom of the oven...this 9 inches mold is perfect for a 10 people cake. It is easy to set up, easy to release and easy to wash! No need to dry it either. I do not put my molds in the dishwasher, but I guess this one would resist. Color is dark metal and I love the locking mecanism. The recipe topping I made today would need improvement. With a thicker topping, this mold would have been perfectly leak-proof, but there was too much butter melted and it made its way to the surrounding ditch...consequently it was not a defect of the mold, but a bad recipe or the poor recipe option I opted for. This mold is a good addition to the kitchen for saltes or sweet palates. It sturdy and its shape makes your realisations very easy to cut...except for bienenstich cakes which are among the worst cakes to cut ever! I am satisfied with this great product really

I already used this item several times , baking cakes and pies. Very convenient, it’s good to use with the parchment paper inside. A good generous size as well, a little smaller than indicated in measurements

I have never used one of these snap cake pans before and was very weary of it actually working, but long and behold it did an excellent job! So far I have made a mocha tiramisu cake inside and it kept it complete intact, so that the presentation was amazing when we served it up for my dinner. I also think the quality of the material is excellent, as it is really heavy and durable. I had actually expected it to be lighter from the pictures and from others I have seen, but this one is really made to last.

I bought this for making ice cream cake, so I can only review based on that. I will say it is not entirely leak proof, as ice cream melted and spread under the pan. I'm sure it could have been worse, but still annoying. Thicker cake batter may not have an issue. However, it is a good size and seems well made, and I'm still able to make my ice cream cake if I don't mind wiping off the leaks.

I just received the rectangular springform pan yesterday. This morning I made one of two batches of brownies for my granddaughter’s birthday. I’m tired of cutting in a regular pan and some recipes call to lift what you baked first. This is great! Brownies cooked beautifully - nice and even all around. I ordered the gold so the pan would be lighter in color for overcooking purposes.The only thing is it did leak a little near the corners. With that said it wasn’t anything to worry or cry over. Didn’t ruin anything so I can live with it. After all, it’s usually used for cheesecake with a cracker bottom. So no whining on my part. It is great!

I bought this to make an ice cream cake for my grandsons birthday. It worked out great. So far no episodes of leaking. Perfect size for a family party.

so, the size was good, and the clasp worked ok. i had gotten it to do a cake for an anniversary. within minutes of being placed in the oven the contents started leaking. luckily, as the pan heated, it seared the cake in the channel...thus, sealing the remaining cake.without thinking of this...issue, i chilled the cake and today...placed it back in the pan after i trimmed it, ajd poured room temp already thickening ganache over the cake to enrobe it. the springform should have made unpanning an enrobed cake a snap.put it in the fridge...and 20 minutes later...ganache. everywhere. luckily, my shelves come oit and my shower has a handspray. i had to remount the cake on another board and it looked...nice, but super sloppy. not my normal work.cake tasted great, but the pan did not help with that, or the 48 oz of ganache down my drain.

Great pan. Some have said it's flimsy but compared to my other springform I don't feel a difference. The pan on the bottom is fantastic because of the lip I didn't have to wrap foil for the water bath. Super cute when done and the way it can be cut makes so much more sense than a round. I can't wait to use this for brownies.

Great form for baking. It's very easy to use and clean. Turned out to be quite a big cake for my daughter's Birthday. Had lots of leftover cake.

This pan is made well. I like that if I wanted I could just leave the cake on the removable tray. It has a lip around it making it easy to carry and serve. It washes really easy. There was a tiny bit of leakage around the bottom edge but honestly it wasn't a big deal. I didn't put it in the oven right away and it sat with cake batter in it for 30 minutes and the small leaks stayed the same. It wasn't dripping out or anything it just "showed" a little around the pan. Would buy again.
