Saved a lot of money instead of having to buy new Panasonic house phones. These worked perfectly for my cordless phones. I replaced the batteries in all of my handsets, and once fully charged, I haven’t had a single issue.Definitely recommend.

Batteries appear to be of good quality. You get a pack of 8. Currently priced at a bit over $3 each. If they can be recharged multiple times without losing capacity, they will be a good value. You will need to have a charger for these. They charged quickly on my generic Amazon charger that I use for my other batteries. They re-charged fairly quickly and did not get hot while charging. This type of battery does dissipate on its own. I am using these in low power devices such as remote controls. So far they last a bit shorter than regular alkaline but if I can get many recharges, I will begin to save money. After 4 re-charges, they should pay for themselves.

I go through a lot of AAA batteries. My remotes just chew them up. Because I go through them so quickly these days I began to suffer from the guilt of using regular batteries. I just couldn't justify that level of battery consumption. It is worthwhile to spend a little more per battery to cut down on toxic trash. When you do the math it actually saves you money as these particular batteries can be charged up to 2500 times. I checked the company page and they've done quite a bit to reduce toxic wastes in their product as well. So far these batteries are lasting in my remote between charges. They charged quickly as well. Highly recommend.

They work excellently, anywhere AAA batteries are required. I tried them in a TV remote and it worked perfectly. I love that these are rechargeable, very good for the environment and less expensive than constantly buying new batteries. No charger included, make sure you have a AAA compatible charger, all brands work the same charging. Overall, recommended for anyone needing AAA batteries that are rechargeable.

The 8 Pack BK-40AAABU Ni-MH AAA Rechargeable Batteries from Panasonic offers a practical and cost-effective solution for powering a range of devices. These 1.2v 400mah AAA batteries are specifically geared towards cordless phones, remotes, and other small electronics, making them a versatile addition to any household.Pros:Convenient Pack Size: Eight batteries provide plenty of replacements, ensuring you're rarely caught without power.Rechargeability: The Ni-MH chemistry allows for repeated charging, saving money and reducing waste compared to disposable batteries.Targeted Capacity: The 400mAh capacity is well-suited for low-to-moderate drain devices like cordless phones, remotes, and some small toys.Direct Replacement: These batteries are designed as a direct replacement for original Panasonic AAA batteries, minimizing compatibility concerns.Cons:Lower Capacity: The 400mAh capacity is relatively lower than some other rechargeable AAA batteries on the market. This may result in shorter runtimes for devices with higher power demands, such as digital cameras or some gaming accessories.Consider this: While Ni-MH batteries are a good choice, they can experience a slower discharge over time when not in use (self-discharge). This means you may need to top them up before using them after extended storage.Requires a Charger: You'll need a compatible Ni-MH battery charger, which is sold separately. This is a necessary investment but also something to factor into the overall cost.Who Might Want to Consider Alternatives:Users with high-powered devices that require a longer runtime. In this case, higher capacity AAAs (e.g., 800mAh or 1000mAh) or even a different battery type might be more suitable.People who heavily use their batteries and might be annoyed by self-discharge.

I am not a battery expert. I usually buy my batteries at the local dollar store. When my remotes stop working, I open them up and replace them. The fact that you can recharge them 2500 times, which comes to a penny a cycle, is way cheaper than even the dollar store batteries. I found a useful tip is to get adapter sleeves so the AAA's can become either AA or C, or D's depending on your need and you won't have to get different sizes.
