This is a very reasonably priced set of masonry drill bits that range in size from 6 to 14 mm. If you're like me, when you encounter the need to drill through concrete, brick, or tile, you can't find the right size masonry bit in your toolbox and have to stop your project, drive to a hardware store, and pay way more than you think you should for one drill bit. Here we have a set of 8, including several duplicates for the most common sizes you might need. And the whole set is less than $3/bit. Good deal in my book.A couple features I really like. The first is that all the shanks end in 6.35mm hex connectors, which are perfect for drivers and other power tools which accept hexagonal bits. Even in non-hex power tools, most will lock in better with a hex shafted bit than a smooth round one that can come loose and spin.I also like the design of the cutting end. The Phillips screwdriver look makes them more stable in the hole you're drilling.I don't need this type of drill bit very often, but when I do, it's nice to have a full set like this one.
