Good Price. Seems to be decent quality. Worked fine. Used it for the 1st time on a 2001 Pontiac Quad Four Engine.

Do not use for springs with more than a few pounds of pressure. Never use on dual spring parts. It’s super delicate and bends very easy and can ruin your application.Do not recommend. This is trash. Parts bent on it. The whole thing is unsteady.

I was a mechanic many years ago and had the best of tools, but moved on to business, so I sold my tools. Now I am retired and am helping my son restore a '73 Nova. I figured I am only going to use it on one vehicle, so I bought this cheap on. I am very familiar with valve spring compressors. And I can categorically say, that anyone who left a good review for this product, has never used a real valve spring compressor. Before I finished removing the valves from one bank, ( keep in mind, I still have the other bank to go, and will have reinstall the valves in both) this thing came all to pieces; it could not stand the pressure. Not only could it not stand the pressure, it sucked to use, it is unbelievably poorly designed. For example, when the pivot is locked, the crossbar in the screw hits the pivot handle. Talk about frustrating to use, but use it I did, but as mentioned it came all to pieces before I could finish one bank. A total waste of money, I still have to go buy a good one.Follow up: The company reached out to me and gave me a free spring compressor of a different style. I cannot hold them responsible for the poor quality of this particular compressor, the company itself, is first class!

It was very easy to use on my SBC heads. Great value. I used the arms that was mounted on it when it arrived. Looks like it will hold up for light to moderate use.

This won’t work on GenV LT style heads and the compression handle is on the wrong end of the tool to be effective for tougher springs.
