Was working on an antique car and needed to remove one of the valves as it was stuck in the valve guide.Put the transmission in gear, then rotate the engine and bring the cylinder you want to top dead sender, screw this hose into the spark plug thread. Connect compressed air and open the ball valve in the adapter. Keep the hose connected to the compressor. The pressure in the cylinder will keep the valve from dropping into the engine when the valve keeper and spring are removed.Simple tool. Worth the money.
