good wheels I made the mistake of buying wrong wheels first time BUT ill explain why on bothFor the record I recommend buying these excellent wheels --just avoid the other ones1. these black wheels are roughly 95% the same height as the standard office chair wheels that come with most chairs theses are the 2 inch wheels and there what you want to buy avoid the 3 inch wheels2. there made a lot better and are mostly metal where as standard wheels are mostly plastic well built and solid3. they roll and glide easily and fit in easy and for the 20.00 paid and excellent value4. also while they aren't as wide as the other wheels they will do less damage to you floors or carpetsNow the problems with he other roller blade wheels I boughtfor the record the company's customer service was great --OFFICE OWL -- chair wheels there 100% satisfaction guarantee was perfect they gave me a full refund after just providing a bit of info and the reasons why I was returning it1. I bought 3 inch wheels so the listing said but they where a bit taller then that about 1..1/4 taller2. the wheels where so drastically taller that 2 times my chair tipped over I fell forwards didn't get hurt but still wasn't nice3. also due to fact that the wheels where very narrow that's probably another reason they tipped over where as normal standard wheels about probably 3 inches wider then theses4. the height of them was so much different I could no longer get my desk keyboard slid out all the way anymore because they would bump in to my arms rests5. also I noticed poor leg circulation due to the difference of height and moderate to increasing lower back pain due to these so unless your tall and have long legs make sure you always measure the height of your chair and wheels first before buying new wheels6. the only good thing about these was they did work well and they glided across floor very well

My work was replacing our chairs, and they said I could take the old ones home with me. When I was loading them into my car, I halfway dropped one and a couple of the wheels broke. I ordered these to replace the wheels. OMG!! They are soooo much better than the el cheapo ones that came with the chair. They actually roll across the carpet very easily. In fact, the wheels swivel and roll so well, when I put them on an outside chair, I have to put something in front of the chair to keep it from rolling off my porch!! They are also heavy duty. I highly recommend.

I inherited some some vintage 19's bar stools that I tried to sell on CL. Nobody wanted them as I prob ably did not price them nearly high enough. I wanted 200 bucks for a set of 4 and should have asked 1600 bucks for them. Anyway, one of the little pads cam off and instead of replacing the pad I bought some of these. They were simple to install and make my bar stools slide or roll across the floor up at the Ponderosa Party Palace aka the barn. I did two of the chairs and have since bought more to do the other 2. Great product for my use.

Lets start off by saying I'm a big guy. I weigh 400lb and I've had some good luck with office/computer chairs and I've had some bad luck.I am currently sitting in a LayZBoy branded big and tall chair. I've had it well over a year and never really had a complaint other than the arm bolts loosening which I fixed with epoxy. Well just a few days ago I noticed my chair was tilting when I was trying to move around in it. Upon further inspection I needed a new wheel; and now we're talking about these bad boys.These wheels feel very sturdy in hand, they look very sleek. Installing them was a breeze, I've tried other wheels in the past that didn't quite fit like expected but that was not a problem with these. The next thing I noticed after installing them is how MUCH easier my chair moves on my carpet now. My apartment has a standard low cut carpet and the old wheels would give me some resistance every now and then trying to scoot. As of the writing of this I can't think of a single negative thing to say of these caster wheels.If any of this changes in the future I will return to edit this review, hopefully that will not be needed.Tl;dr: These caster wheels are amazing, on carpet they roll like a dream and have a very nice fit and finish.

My favorite desk chair is now a teenager and the wheels were those hard plastic double sided wheels. This chair has been on carpet for years and then tile and the old wheels began to fall apart. i wanted to match the height because I didn't want to alter the chair height. These fit the bill.I thought, being that the chair was so old, there was a real possibility that the wheels either wouldn't fit or would be really hard to change out. Happily, neither was the case. Some came out by hand, a couple needed to be pried with a large screwdriver. The new ones went in by hand (I am over 50 and not strong, so if it wasn't hard for me, it isn't likely to be hard for most people). The chair rolls well again and so far, knock wood, they are holding up ok, but time will tell on how long they last.There's a rim on the wheels (I'd imagine to stop them from going in too far). The old ones had that too. That rim made it easy to pry out the old ones that wouldn't pull out by hand. I'd expected to end up tapping the new ones in with a rubber mallet, but it wasn't needed they popped in by hand and seem quite stable.
