I have needed this tool for sooo long and I didn’t even know. These tools are essential for most handy persons and also for electricians like me. They are tough enough to cut into pieces the most stubborn to the softest wires. As I wasn’t used to this tool, it was really a first trial for me, I went through some professional articles and some educational videos on how to use them. I thought in the beginning that it would be difficult to use given the structure. Again I had never seen these and also never used it. They came to me just like saving tools as I was engaging on a project and couldn’t find my usual wire cutters. I decided to use them directly and I literally forgot about my usual wire cutters.These safety pliers are perfect for safety wiring or lock wiring as mentioned in the description. I have been able to secure the fasteners and even all the electrical wires or connections I was working on. Isolating any danger during my work on electrical cables are working safely. My super Gunpla safety wire pliers are probably the most versatile, and eventually must have electrician tools. I have had similar products that have worked a bit better. It definitely twists wires like it should but the mechanism to unlock the pliers can be challenging to open. They seem to be balanced enough to make a smooth twisting action. The spinner is a little bit rougher than other twisting pliers I have used. For the price, this is an ok purchase. I dont need these everyday so for me the little nits are not a problem.

Use safety pliers for many years for all sorts of things. These are great.

The twist mechanism stopped working after about half a dozen tie-offs. Will be buying a nicer set for sure...

This item was from my military days. It is by far the best when it comes to wire twisting. It has a locking handle for easy and perfect performance. I couldn't ask for a better tool.
