I bought it for single use on my son's disabled Grand Cherokee in the snow 3 1/2 hrs from home. I packed up and went to troubleshoot. Without these pliers, I'm not sure if I could have reached the plug on a bad crank sensor. So for me worth every penny.

Almost too stiff to use until exercised a bunch but that also means that the ends stay aligned very well.These work great once you get them loosened up.

I did a head gasket job on my wife's Toyota Prius which involved removing many many hoses and this tool was invaluable to have in my arsenal of tools! Great value for the money.

These pliers are great. Now, while I haven't used them for holding hoses, I have used them for gripping curved or odd shaped metal which they work great for. They are comfortable to grip and are a good price.
