Bought these about a year ago. We had some older powered grinders that used AA batteries. They were tall and bulky, and one wound up breaking. After a bit of shopping we decided on these. They are a great size, fit nicely in the hand and can easily be used with one hand. They work great, the automatic grinding when you turn them over is awesome, so easy when working quickly to make a meal come together. Adjustable grinding size works well and is easy to change. The cleaning brush is handy, you will use it from time to time. The battery life is incredible, after a year of nearly daily use, we have only charged them twice! Highly recommend these.

We have had gravity, operated salt, and pepper grinders for 10 years, but it is difficult to find a set that lasts for more than a year. Lately, I’ve only been able to find ones that would last for about 3 to 6 months. I prefer gravity operated salt and pepper grinders because of arthritis in my hands. I also like the ease of just picking them up and seasoning things quickly while prepping and cooking. Finding a set that works well and is durable is difficult. I have had this set for nine weeks now. Very impressed so far. I like the recharging capability. They look fabulous sitting on my counter and I never have to worry about replacing batteries. I will update in a year regarding durability.

overall a decent product, easy to use, better than grinding by hand out of the box 1 had a charge 1 did not. When I put them on the charger the light on the grinder on the one with the charge, but did not on tho other, after a while on the charger the other light came on and charged just fine.I gave 4* for only 1 reason that being the adjustment for corse to fine. When I got mine even the coarse didn't seem coarse enough, while trying to adjust I ran into the issue that one 2* review had encountered. When I adjusted the salt to the fine setting it then stuck closed loosening it loosened the adjustment knob to the point it just unscrewed from the grinder. It turned out to be an easy fix though all I needed to do was pop the piece that opens and closes off re-insert it, then re screw the adjustment knob back on. there are markings for coarse and fine on the grinder but I found the knobs didn't exactly line up and as stated didn't seem to open to a coarse setting I liked. After the above incident I realized I could do the opposite and continue turning the adjustment knob past where it stopped for the course mark. Doing this let me adjust to as course of a grind as I needed. I since used them with no issues.

Replaced a failing dual manual grinder, that was a stalwart in my kitchen. This does a more even, finer grind of pepper than any grinder I have used for over 20 years. One hand operation is helpful while cooking quickly. Earned a permanent place on my counter immediately.

This pair of shakers for salt and pepper charge well and grind well. I figured out how to use them and I like them. They're not exactly one-handed. I take the top off, where the grinding mechanism is, in order to turn it over and press the on button in the back. One thing I like is that when I turn it upright it automatically stops grinding, which is great. Then, I turn the button to off. I'm happy.

I was looking for a battery power, salt and pepper shaker. I did buy this one. The downfall is the back door where you refill keeps opening and throwing pepper and salt grinds all over my house. It's such a pain to clean up not very happy. I actually had to put tape on it to keep it closed. I ruined many dishes. Cooking were the salt and pepper poured into my recipe as I was grinding over the pan cooking.

We've gone through numerous s & p grinders & shakers. All of them were deficient in some way. So we kept looking. After seeing some 'automatic' grinders at a restaurant we looked and chose these. They charged up fast, look good and work great! It takes a bit to get used to just turning over something and s & p come grinding out with no effort! So far we love these. No idea yet how long they keep a charge. It's been about a month and they're still going strong!
