  • The EU50 has a heating capacity of up to 5000 gallons, 9'x18' oval or 15' round. If you reside in a northern region, it is recommended to choose a larger size heater, such as the model EU70.

  • The operating temp. range for the EU50 is between 45F and 100F. It performs optimally at temp. above 60F.

I've had this pump up and running since May, Have never enjoyed my pool so much!My above ground Prism Frame 14'x4' Intex sits in the shade in the Northern New Jersey.Would be lucky if the water reached 78° during a month long heat wave. Now, my temp is consistently in the mid 80's thanks to this heat pump. Followed the directions diligently (reaching the desired temperature and maintaining it, using a solar cover each night) it has truly transformed my home pool experience!Prior to purchase, I reached out to customer service with a question.Corresponded with Lily, who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful!A truly amazing experience.Highly recommend!!

Got my pool up to 100+ after about 8 -12 hours. Only 900 gallons but well worth the money. My daughter won’t enjoy the water unless it’s in the 90’s and this thing works well for it. Just plan in advance. Even larger pools take a long time to turn over warm water with gas powered heaters, so, this does the job just as well in my opinion.

The product came with a noise an vibration. When I call the manufacturer using the phone number given by AWS, they told that they have nothing to do with it. So I sent an email and they told me to open the device and see about the noise! Of course I did not follow those odd instructions.

We hooked up the heat pump heater today. In 5 hours it has increased pool temp 6 degrees. I have a 14'x48" above ground pool about 5,000 gallons. I also have a solar cover. Sunny today 82 degrees in Iowa. At first glance appears to be working as stated.

Works as advertised. Wasn't turning on when I first installed it, found a disconnected wire in the electrical box. Probably came loose during shipping. Pool is a comfortable 82 degrees. Warmed it up 5 degrees the 1st day it was running.
