I have been using a timer on my pool for 30+ years starting with ones with little tabs you inserted on a dial then upgraded to Alexa compatible to smart plugs when they first became available. The smart plug is near the limit of the 15amp powering handling and gets warm. My pump would run better and cooler if changed to 220V, but didn't because didn't have 220V timer solution.THIS SWITCH HANDLES ALL THE PROBLEMS! It can be wired to supply 120 or 240V to the pump, has a much larger 40 amp handling capacity and works with both Amazon and Google smart switches! OK, it is winter and there is a foot of ice on my pool now, so I just did a bench test, but all worked well. Setup for either voltage is straight forward if you follow the included instruction manual. It comes in a great looking weather protected case. Best no-compromise inexpensive pool-timer solution I've seen!

The box was not sealed and the product was not wrapped. The accessories, manual were loose inside the product/box itself. Also the digital clock was already on. When i tried to fix the time, the Hour button works but the Minute button does not change/not responsive. I’m very hesitant to install as there may be other issues and I did not want to do all the wiring just to find out if it works or not.I’m not sure if this is how this digital pool timer box is packaged by the manufacturer but what I got is well below expectation, hence the 1/5 rating

This appears to be a well built unit. I have an electrician coming out in a week to hook it up for our hot water tank. It shows that it should be rated for 30amp at 220v, so it should work. As you can see in the pictures, there are very clear instructions, both in the box cover as a sticker, and as a separate sheet. The rotary timer dial is very tight and appears not to have any play. To set the time, there are vertical bars around the face of the dial. They work as they should. It would have been nice if they had provided 2 wire clamps that go into the numerous precut openings. I look forward to seeing how it performs over the long run.

The timer is very versatile, with the clock running on voltages from 120 -277. The load can be isolated from the clock circuit, and there are two switching circuits available, which can be different voltages from the timer and each other. The various options are clearly marked on the information sheet attached inside the door.

I got this for a backup for my pool timer. This is incredibly easy to set up and program. It is a snap to install the on/off timer tags to run how you want it. It will be perfect for my pool pump system.

Easy swap with my existing timer. Looks and works great.No issues and it's performing flawlessly so far.Really well made enclosure and timer.Great value and definitely recommend
