Perfect for our needs, and when I needed an adjustable speed belt sander, it was too late to return it. Needless to say, the speed control did not work, and it accelerated to the point where I thought it was going to take off and explode in the process! Crazy! So glad I thought of looking up this little AC motor speed controller on Amazon, because it works great! I simply plug it into the wall, plug the extension cord into the speed controller, and then plug in the sander. Wow, now I have it running at a reasonable speed without exploding

Works great, just what I needed, my electric hand sander was going too fast and with this easy to use speed controller my electric hand sander works great. If you have an angle grinder you know they run at full speed and sometimes it's nice to turn it down when sanding or cutting. Especially with small parts. I bought this voltage regulator for a few uses but it has proven to be very useful for the grinder. It has a good sized knob and makes it easy to get the speed you want. I will also use it on my bench grinder just to control the speed. Planning on buying another one. Excellent product
