I couldn't make these for the cost of materials and they're perfect.

I wanted to see if I could mount 3/4 inch tools in my AXA holder. The answer was; not right out of the box. But an added shim to the stationary side of the dovetail on the AXA holder and it locks in tightly. So far not a problem.

A repeat customer of Accusize tooling. they are as described and quickly delivered at a reasonable price. Are they as good as top of the line stuff ? NO. are they plenty good enough to hold tolerances on my equipment to a couple of tenths (.0002 )YES. I will get more.

I ordered these in the BX/250 size. I must say, I was very surprised. Of the various tool holder brands that I own (Grizzly & Phase II), these have the absolute best Finish! The machining is great, minimal tool marks, edge bevels are even, and the surface grinding on the backside is the Best that I've seen (Mirror Finish). At half the price of the others, I'll definitely order more of these as i need them.

I bought 4 of these 250-201 and 250-201XL and they were machined very well, I then ordered 6 more 250-201 tool holders. These fit my tool post well and hold the tool tight. Intend on buying more in the near future.

It's OK. It's the same basic part as the 201/202 holders, except this one will take 3/4" shank tools. rather than the max 5/8" shank max for the 250-201/202. I was hoping they'd made this XL from a piece of steel that was 1/8" taller, but all they did was mill out an extra 1/8" from the top and back of the slot for the tool bit, so you've got 1/8" less threads for the setscrews and 1/8" thinner steel web behind the dovetail . Other than that, it's exactly the same as the 250-201, except a bit weaker from cutting away more metal, and it will take 3/4" x 5/8" shank as a result of cutting the slot taller and deeper. So, anyone with a mill could convert their 250-201/202 to XL just by milling 1/8" off the top and back of the slot.It would have been a much better tool if they'd made the whole thing at least 1/8" taller and thicker. They are well made, and the price on them is the best I've found. They fit well. They are great for mounting and configuring a tool for a quick change. I highly recommend these. The only negative about them (and it's the same for all brands of these), is the rather marginal setscrews that are supplied with them. For starters, they are way longer than needed, Next, they have a weird end that the last 1/4" or so is not threaded. It doesn't matter much if you are using 1/2" tools in the holder (or 5/8" for this XL), but for 3/4", it means the setscrew is so far out only half the threads (of this probably marginal steel in the first place) are engaged, thus increasing the chances of stripping the screw or holder threads if tightened too much. I have about 20 of the 250-201/202 holders, and I've replaced the setscrews on most all of them, especially when I'm using 5/8" shank tools (or 3/4 or this one). I've never had any problem with any of them. Also, on all of them, the threaded screw that holds the height adjusting nut is usually installed rather loose. The best thing to do is remove it, clean it, then reinstall it tightly.

Tool Holders fit the Tool Post on my King 12x36ML Lathe3/4" Tools will fit in these Tool Golders, however, the unthreaded portion of the Clamping Screws must be removed (not an issue)
