Needed to get straight sides on 5/4 maple boards did not have a cutter tall enough. This bit cut the hardwood easily and very smoothly. Cut 76 ft of board with no wear.

Made a deep channel in a highly figured block of walnut. Made a smooth cut until it came to a swirl of grain and it chattered,not enough to ruin the job but scary

This is solid and would probably work great if I had the proper size of router. Unfortunately it won't work in my router, though it is sharp, solid, and looks good.

I intended to use this router bit to clean out a deep mortise in fir. I'd pre-drilled the bulk of the mortise. This bit lasted about 2-3 minutes before it chipped. There was some chattering but not that bad. The cutting edges are obviously brittle. I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews.

this extra long cutter with a 1/2†shank is accurate and smooth cut. without this extra long length you can’t get the job done.made my life easy.the carbide quality and a very fair price.

I bought this to do some really deep mortises on a gate I was building. The quality and sharpness of this bit is very good. It chattered a bit when really deep (3.5") but that can be expected and it does not harm the cut at all. As good as bits that are twice the price. I would purchase again.

Seems to do a good job and seems beefy enough to handle the three inch cutting edge, though so far I've only needed it for very light trimming.

Was cheaper than many, but very solid. I used it to cut a circle on 1.5" thick butcher block counter top (birch). Very clean clut, no hesitation and no burning makrs. Very happy with the choice.
