This one actually makes a high pitched sound that my dog can hear and he is nearly deaf. The other garbage stuff that I bought from Amazon was made in China and no human or dog could hear anything.

I train dogs to follow basic whistle commands for sit, stay, down and release but living in Texas there are days I can’t get my lips to whistle. I’ve checked out several products and have settled onto this one. It’s loud and has a consistent tone.

I use this whistle for my dogs on the beach because it’s super loud down there and trying to yell their names is pointless because they can’t hear me. With this whistle, my dogs could be 75 yards away and still hear me no matter how loud the waves and wind are!

The sound is faint, like a whisper, and doesn't get my pup's attention like a regular whistle.And it immediately accumulates saliva. That might be from the cool temps, but it's a spittle producer.I do like the rubber body and slim size, easy to hold in my mouth.

This is literally just a regular whistle like every other normal whistle. Nothing different or special about it. Does it work at creating a sudden loud sound that's alarming to a dog? Sure yeah but so would a $2 whistle. Definitely way over priced. Save your money and get a cheap whistle elsewhere.
