Well made. Precision is fine for hobby projects. As plain carbon steel, protect from rusting. Great value for three functional calipers.

Like plain oatmeal, beige, or plain boiled chicken, these tools are all.....fine. Not crap, not great. They function. Can you get a set of calipers that are 3 times as good for two times the price? Undoubtedly. I'd do that, but if you don't want to spend more than $19.00, then these are the tools for you.My Outside Caliper has a wicked twist to it, and required several minutes of "persuasion" to get the tips to touch (ha!), but the other two were straight enough that I haven't needed to resort to hitting them to get them to be useable at what they were purchased to do. I'm sure I'll never get the cosmoline out of the shirt I was wearing, but at least they didn't rust in the package, which is nice.
