Installed on boiler system. Installed quickly, and functions as per specification. Recent installation so I can not verify longevity of service as of this review.

My old Honeywell operator died. This came fast and was easy to install with no issues. The cost was fair. I’ve bought just the actuator in the past but this time needed the end limit switches and this fit the bill.

The part worked perfectly. Great price point. Easy to install. I would have given it a 5, but when manually operating the switch, the manual arm would occasionally slip on the gear.. Seemed like it was more of an alignment. But once connected with the thermostat, it worked fine.

I've been a handy man for many years. I was surprised to find this well-built piece in the box. Packed new in original carton and a heavier duty unit to boot. I found it to be much better than the Honeywell. Fit as well as function is perfect. Sorry, the thieves lost on this one! Thanks to Amazons next day delivery, all is great! Perfect!

Installed valve two years ago…still going strong without any issues with the motor or valve itself.

Essentially the same as the Honeywell powerhead for which it is a drop-in replacement. Well built, and so far is working fine.

Exact replacement for Honeywell V8043E. The HW failed after about 10 years. This product was a direct replacement. Two screws to attach it in opposite corners which the new one came with. I bought this because I could get it delivered in 3 days to the interior of Alaska. I will buy another for a spare. 09.08.2023 it cost $49.95. The HW was made in Hungary. I could not find where the replacement was manufactured. Would have been nice if it came with 4 wire nuts but I had some on hand.

I purchased 5 of these Valemo powerheads to replace Honeywell powerheads. I can't be sure, but I suspect the Honeywell units were the original units and were likely 20 years old. Within 12 months of installing the new units, 2 had failed where they wouldn't engage the end switch to enable the furnace. Within another 6 months, one motor had issues and was hot as hell. The last unit finally failed and wouldn't energize at all. When the units failed, I also found trying to hold them open manually with the lever didn't do much because it either wouldn't catch on the tab or, the sprockets would slip when trying to open it and it wouldn't open all the way. I've been looking for better alternatives even if I have to pay more.

Much like the other reviews, I used this part to replace a Honeywell Powerhead that was 27 years old. The replacement instructions are clear. The product itself is of good quality, and fit perfectly. I just hope I can get similar "mileage" as the original!

I have 3 zone valves. This actuator is not built as well as the other two but is the same as the original. This style has a thinner gear plate and appears to run off the central path over time and deforms... thus having to replace it more often. Note: this complete valve package was inferior to the other 2 thus needing to buy another inferior actuator that mated with the valve body.

Looks and feels like very good quality, was exact replacement for Honeywell one, fits in nicely. Has been working for a couple of weeks now, hopefully it lasts. Was first tempted to order just the internal motor, good thing I order the complete unit because the old unit was bad mechanically, gear teeth were slipping and heat would be on all the time.
