I have big hands, so i love that the handles are pretty thick. Easy to adjust, no rattling, saves a bunch of space, etc. these are well built. They don’t take up a huge footprint and these feel the closest to a commercial gym dumbbell I’ve found with any type of adjustable I’ve used over the years. These are so much cheaper than most adjustables and they are so much better. Feel like i could drop these and nothing would happen. I’m honestly contemplating buying a second pair i like them so much. My only complaint is that the knurling could be better; it’s not very aggressive, so it can be slightly more challenging to get a good grip. There is enough there, but I’d prefer it if it was more aggressive. Other than that, these are a no brainer. Better than anything you’ll find in this price range.

I was on the hunt for an adjustable dumbbell for my home gym—one that would save space and didn’t have the clunky, awkward look of some other options out there. After some research, I decided to go with these, and I’m so glad I did. They’re fantastic—similar to the Iron Masters but at a much more affordable price point. I picked up the 80lb dumbbell set, and it’s been perfect for my needs so far. I haven’t felt the urge to go beyond 80lbs yet, but it’s great to know they offer an extension screw kit and additional weight plates if I ever want to upgrade. The set comes with both 2.5lb and 5lb increments, which gives me plenty of flexibility for adjusting the weight. One thing to note: the dumbbell itself starts at 10lbs, so keep that in mind if you’re looking for something lighter. The knurling is top-notch—really comfortable and provides excellent grip, which I appreciate during workouts. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend these over other adjustable dumbbells on the market. They strike a great balance of quality, functionality, and value.

I typically don’t write reviews, but I was so impressed with these dumbbells, I felt that I needed to. I’ve owned quite a few sets of different adjustable dumbbells including bowflex 1090s. What the other dumbbells had that I would consider to be superior to these are the much faster speed you can adjust the weights. In everything else, these dumbbells are superior. Durability- these dumbbells are all metal, no plastic parts and simple use and function. More compact - when using bowflex I found certain movements to be awkward, overhead presses being among them. The dumbbells were so big that I had to press up with my arms further out than I felt comfortable with. Not with these dumbbells, they feel like dumbbells that you would find in the gym. Also placing them on your legs when preparing to do a set of dumbbell bench presses, with the bowflex, the dial would dig into your thighs, these are practically flat and comfortably sit on your thighs. With further options to upgrade the weight to 160lbs, in my opinion, these will be the only dumbbells you’ll ever need…for the rest of your life.

I had Ironmasters about 15 years ago and had to sell due to a move. A few years ago I purchased Nuobells. After another move I now decided on these and they cannot be beat for the price. Almost exactly like the Ironmasters, but easier to add and subtract weight - at almost half the price. The Nuobells were obviously easier and quicker to adjust weight but even going really easy on them you could see plastic shavings appearing. The Eisenlinks are the clear winner in my opinion.

Good knurling, easy to change weight. Only complaint is that they would be better if the handles were shorter. This would work if the dumbells came with shorter screws for few plates and the longer screws for when using more plates. Overall a very good product and a great value.

These are very well designed adjustable dumbbells. Nice grippy knurling (though it could be a bit more pronounced). Easy to use. Only takes a couple seconds to adjust weight. Size is good, about what you’d expect from similarly weighted non-adjustable dumbbells (maybe a bit big at lower weights). They feel stable even while loaded up and durable enough to last a lifetime. Incredible value. Very happy with these.

These things are awesome! Max weight of 80 pounds in a standard dumbbell configuration is perfect for a home gym. They offer a longer screw / additional plates to max out at 160 pounds which very few would ever need. They also have the smallest form factor of any adjustable dumbbell on the market. Slightly shorter than the Iron Masters due to slightly taller plates. Great overall configuration and time to change weights is minimal. I can move up / down 20lbs in under 30 seconds for both dumbbells and have the comfort in knowing that if I ever need to dump them from a lift, they won’t be damaged. Drop proof!

These weights are as advertised. Solid metal parts. Super smooth use and weight interchange. Feel great in your hand. I was torn between this set of dumbbells and theNorthdeer 2.0 dumbbells. I think I made the right choice for two major reasons.1. Cost: Pound for pound these are cheaper (literally). To get to 50 lb on the North deer adjustable set, you would have to buy at least two additional weight extensions. Making this a much cheaper dumbbell set since it starts at 50 lb already. And the additional weights are cheaper than the other brand for more weight.2. Size: checking on additional weights won't too much additional length to this weight set. However with the north deer set, all the additional weight would add significant length since the weights are smaller in circumference but fatter. To get to 50 lb the north deer set would be almost a foot and a half long. This is not even a foot at 50 lb. If you want to go to a higher weight it doesn't add much additional length onto this dumbbell set. The north deer set would be at like 2 ft which is unreasonable for a dumbbell and would put a lot of stress on the initial weight. Not an issue with this dumbbell. This is designed for heavier lifters.
