I got myself a 6 lbs., 7 lbs. and 9 lbs. pairs, so this review will be the exact same for all those three sizes since they are identical apart from the weight and size.CAP has been around for a long time doing these, so their reputation for a "good value" dumbbell is not to be questioned. Are there more "quality products" out there? Probably, but for the price and quality, this cannot be beat. I would personally rate those neoprene at about a 9.5/10 which is near perfect.They are VERY comfortable in terms of grip and the size is proportioned. Extremely easy to work out with, won't slip from your hands either and sweat won't be a problem with those.What I liked the most is that I could find a 6, 7 and 9 lbs. which are very odd and rare formats to find. Most "kits" offer 3 lbs., 5 lbs., 8 lbs. or 10 lbs. but anything in between is near impossible to find. For me that matters since I do a lot of drop sets and wanted to micro-manage my last set with the max I can tolerate after all that pain. Also important if you do boxing or martial arts to "shadow box" with, again with the max you can tolerate on a particular day.My only tiny complaint is the font they used for the numbers which doesn't fit the rest of my dumbbells from CAP. Not sure why they decided on a different font type for those, but it distracts a bit when you look at the rack and see that they don't seem to be exactly from the same collection. It's subtle though seriously and only my OCD self probably notice. Weights are weights and I'm glad CAP still makes those odd sizes.

Perfect starter dumbbells. They are actually the same weight, which is weird to say because I've purchased some in the past that were 1/2 lb different. I love the color and the price was decent. The grip is comfortable and they don't try to slip out when sweating.

I use these religiously with youtube workout videos when it's too cold/im too lazy to go to the gym and it's really helped so much in my fitness journey. 10lbs also is a great weight for me because I can do a variety of exercises to challenge my body with less chance of injury. Also very good quality, sturdy, easy to maintain your grip even with sweaty hands

It’s a good product - weight feels accurate- neoprene feels nice. But unfortunately I only received one of the two I was supposed to receive when I made sure to order the pair. Unfortunately I put it into a little advent calendar I made for myself without unboxing it so I missed the return window. Unlike me, make sure you check your box when you get it if you order more than one dumbbell! Good product though overall and looking at the rest of the reviews it looks like my experience is not common so I’m reviewing based on the quality of the product and not the disappointing execution of the delivery.

I have this set up in the closet so that while I am working I can sit and use the individual weights.It comes with a plastic stand. It is not the highest quality and I do wish it was made of better material but since that is not what the weight set is about, let me get back to the product. Great color set.Feels very good in the hand. Perfect size. Love everything about this set.

Purchased these just to use while being a couch potato. They are lightweight (5lb) so they are good for stretching and many repetitive motions; better than doing nothing but staring at a screen.If looking for a set, or just a heavier dumbbell, these are well manufactured and the neoprene makes for a good grip.The weight was checked using a bathroom scale, which showed them slightly lighter than 5lb; the scale could be to blame.A very solid purchase!

These are seriously just as pictured, excellent quality weights. Frame is thin so be careful but you shouldn't have any problems!
