Probably not exactly what they are designed for, but exactly what I need and ordered them for. Allows me to hold acrylic ceiling panel to the ceiling itself long enough for the adhesive to set to hold permanently. And yes this was accomplished alone. They are that easy to adjust and set.

I wish the swivel heads were secured with a bolt and lock nut-the press rivet gets sloppy then the head flops all over the place which isn’t a problem for the bottom skid but most definitely on the top 1 Otherwise pretty handy-just ordered a pair of the shorter version-I’ll grind off rivetand install bolt and nut myself-easy fix

This is very nice and makes hanging drywall or cabinets super easy for one guy. It's extendable too so you can use it to reach higher places you'd need a ladder for otherwise. Well made and easy to use. Easy to hold. 10/10

The pole looked good except when you try to insert the rod into either top or bottom nuts, no QC on this item.

We do LOTS of DIY/reno projects and I'm surprised we've never bought a set of these! They are super handy when working on framing, decking, etc. I found them easy to use and well-designed, right out of the box.
