I've tried many filters...yes these are more expensive then the Amazon version, but the quality is where it's at. They work, very well. They're sturdy, well packaged, and for a merv 8, they filter just fine without constricting air flow, even when they have build it. I change mine every month because I'm weird like that. But you can definitely leave them for 3 months, no problem.

I have used these filters in the past and they work well. Unfortunately this delivery did not meet expectations. They came crushed on 1 side and I needed to "coax" them back to a useable form. Not well packaged = hence the damaged product.

I've been really happy with this furnace filter. The filter size is just right, fitting perfectly into my HVAC system. This is a very solid purchase because it's cost-effective and the quality is good. These filters are easy to install, which is a huge bonus. The pack comes with 4 filters, so it's pretty much set for the year. All in all, great value for the price.

I have a Carrier Heat Pump system for the HVAC in my home. It requires an odd sized filter that Home Depot nor Lowe's does not carry. However I was lucky to find that Amazon does. The filter is a medium grade paper in a sturdy cardboard frame that blocks microscopic level dust and pollen spores. It is easy to install into and remove from the opening in the heat pump. You can dispose the used filter in the recycling trash.I just checked the filter after using it for about a month now and it works great. For me, a filter will probably last for a few months. It's good to check it every month.
