This plug in unit works better then I expected in my 2016 Silverado LT. Stays in V8 mode the entire time, which so far seems to make the engine run better and transmission shift smoother. Definitely improved take off acceleration.

This disabler is amazing. I immediately felt a huge difference in acceleration. No more Eco mode vibration to deal with.

This did the job, and i haven't seen any decrease in mpg. Not sure what the lights indicate on the unit, there were no instructions or explanation for the lights.

Recently purchased for my chevy Silverado with 5.3. This product does what it's intended to do, keeps engine out of going into V4 and stays running on all 8. Very fast and easy to install Overall very satisfied with my purchase can't beat the value for the money, Definitely recommend.

Seems to work. Disables auto start stop too. Tested it on a 2019 Silverado with DFM and a 2020 Tahoe with AFM. It’s easier to tell on the older gen Tahoe with AFM because it shows you if you’re in V4 or V8 mode. The Tahoe always stayed in V8 mode. When using it in my 2019 with DFM appears that it doesn’t work until you go over 40mph because the instant MPG goes to 99mpg’s when you coast but stops doing that after you’ve gone over 40. However the instant MGP’s do the same thing in the AFM Tahoe which shows it always in v8 mode. Not sure why it does that. Still gets 5 stars.

I have only had this for a day in my recently purchased 2017 Chevy Tahoe and I will say that it indeed keeps it out of v4 mode. which is good because the active fuel management in these trucks were known to have issues.
