UPDATE: On second use, it climbed the walls. Also, the pool bottom was very dirty after a windstorm and it was cleaned perfectly, again.FIRST USE: Easy to set up, charge, and easy to drop into the pool. The hook to pull it out works. Cleaning: perfect. Emptying the bin: easy. Note: as they said, it only partially climbs curved walls, height depends on the severity of the curve. Fully understandable if you think about the physics. But cleaning the bottom of the pool was excellent.

Robot cleans the floor of the pool great. Walks up the sides but still needs some brushing. Basket is easy to clean. The unit is pretty heavy when full of water and you are trying to remove it from the pool. Just let it sit on the edge for a few moments to drain and lift it out without the hook. I think it cleans much better than the unit powered by the pool pump. It covers the entire pool very well in the 3 hours.

Don’t bother. Even though it will work GREAT initially, it will die in less than two months, and the customer service is a joke. They want you to mail it to them for them to with on it and send it back, rather than just replace the defective model they sold you.

Definitely does a good job cleaning the walls/floor, picks up most sized debris. The charge time is decent. The only issue I have seen so far is it gets stuck on the raised drain cover I have.... have not figured out a solution to this yet. Having said that, mine may be a little older, as I do not have an upgraded dual drainage system on my pool. The little Seagull just gets stuck going in circles....

Took a chance and purchased this unit based on reviews and the companies reputation, as I needed to ship this unit out of country once I received it.“No more getting stuck on drains while cleaning the pool†should be modified to read “Less likely to get stuck on drains while cleaning the poolâ€My unit constantly gets stuck and spins in circles, I have the lowest profile drain covers available in my area.I spent a lot of time removing the unit from the drain covers, turning it off then back on and moving it to a different location in the pool as directed by customer support, if you have a square or rectangular pool with no floor drains, this unit may be for you?Called customer support and they said that this unit may not be compatible with my pool and I may need to return it. Easier said than done since I have already shipped it out of country and it is past the date that I can return it even if I could.I am giving a five star review based on the customer service I received and not the unit’s performance in my pool, although the unit has great build quality and seems like it would be a solid contender in the market. It wasn’t the right fit for my pool.Customer Service reached out to me and provided me with options to resolve my dissatisfaction with their product, rest assured that when you do business with Aiper, they truly care and stand behind their products to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Does a decent job but still dissapointed that it can't handle the stairs of our pool, and also has trouble cleaning the borders. It does clean a lot of dirt, grass and small leafs. That part is good, so I would still have given it 4 stars, if it wasn;t from the dissapointment that it won't climb the stairs of the pool. With a different type of pool, maybe it works better.

Nice design, not too heavy. Works super well, even up the walls.Lasts about an hour, which gets the whole pool. Clean out the basket and then recharge for next time. Super easy and fun to watch.

I have an Intex 16ft 48" above ground pool and this lil beast will climb the walls to the waters surface , do a little scrub dance and submerge and move to the next spot over, it picks up all debris at the bottom of the pool leaving nothing behind. The battery life is superb and am able to get a few cleanings from one charge over the course of a few days. One hundred percent solid product and would replace immediately if need be.
