I have experience with both suction side automatic(dumb)cleaners as well as corded electrical robotic cleaners in our pool. While I have not been disappointed by the cleaning performance of a corded robotic pool cleaner, the last cordless robotic pool cleaner I tried was really disappointing. Glad to say this Aiper Scuba E1 exceeded my expectation.I intended to report on its performance on the shallow side of our in-ground pool, because Aiper says it is meant for above ground pools. Previous model of battery powered pool cleaner I tried in our pool got stuck in the deep end and didn't clean much. I expected this one to be the same. But I was impressed to see it successfully navigating all the way around the pool during the cleaning cycle. Thanks chiefly to the powered wheels that allow it to have some traction. The suction power of the cleaner was also impressive. I got to test it out after a very windy day that left a lot of fall leaves in the swimming pool. This Aiper robot ate them right up.The charging time is not a bother because I don't intend on using it as frequently. And the runtime of the robot in the pool should be plenty for above ground pools up to the size Aiper recommends. For this price, I think you can't go wrong with this cleaner.

This cordless robotic pool cleaner is a great find. It’s a huge time-saver and does exactly what it promises. Setup was simple, and it’s built to last with a heavy-duty design. I can tell this is something I’ll be using for years to come. If you’re looking for an efficient and reliable way to keep your pool clean, this is a solid choice.

This robotic pool cleaner is awesome because it has no cords or hoses to get in the way and cause malfunctions. My husband has dubbed it "Number Five," which confused our younger children (and most of the older ones) for a while. One of our sons-in-law finally remembered the movie Short Circuit ("Number Five is alive!"), and then we all had a good laugh. It really does seem as if this little guy has a mind of its own! It wanders around the bottom of the pool like a Roomba wanders around the living room, efficiently picking up the slime, dirt, and other debris that tends to accumulate in the summer, especially with a pool full of kids.Because it is cordless, it is amazingly easy to take out of the pool for cleaning. The only downside is that someone is pretty much guaranteed to get wet retrieving it. We have tried various experiments to stay dry on the patio and failed each time (but it is hilarious to watch as Daddy/Grandpa falls in the water with each attempt!). Ultimately, my husband has one of the kids who seems to live in the water pull it out and take it over to where he can spray it out with the garden hose.Because there are two filters and a good-sized basket, it doesn't need to be rinsed as often as the battery needs to be charged. If there is one thing I could change, it would be to have a longer battery life. However, I have not compared it with other robotic pool cleaners, so I can't be sure that the battery life isn't completely adequate. But I do know the dual filtration system picks up the yuck very effectively off the bottom of the pool, and it does so without me having to worry about where it is or how far it cleaned before needing more juice. It features a dual filtration system and a good-sized basket, so there is no worry at all that it will hold whatever the battery pack lasts long enough to pick up. I love that it is easy to clean and works so well I do not have to worry about it as it cruises the bottom of the pool. Cleaning "Number Five" upon emerging from the depths is a simple matter of spraying it out with the garden hose. So, it really couldn't be easier. I love that there is no real headache involved! I can usually find a kid who wants to jump in to dig him up from the depths for me.This unit costs about $300, regardless of where you find it, so it is definitely worth looking into other options that might have a better battery life. Not that this one doesn't last an adequate amount of time, because it stays submerged long enough to do a thorough job, but perhaps there is a battery out there that has a little more juice. And, of course, this is meant for above-ground pools only, so if you are needing something for an in-ground pool, keep looking.Overall, the AIPER Scuba E1 is a solid choice for those seeking a cordless and convenient pool cleaning solution. Because it is so easy to use and cleans efficiently without hassle or babysitting from me, I would say it is definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Technology has taken much of the work and tedium out of owning a swimming pool. It's amazing how much of the upkeep process is now automated which means I can keep the pool from becoming scuzzy in between professional cleanings. There really isn't a device that can do *everything* yet which is why I've been putting together a robot army of pool cleaning devices. This device does one thing but does it well. It's basically a Roomba for the bottom of your pool and keeps it free from all kinds of debris. A full charge gives you over two hours of cleaning time and that's more than enough to do the job. It couldn't be easier--you put it in the pool, it goes to work and it parks itself when it's finished. Highly recommended!

Anything that helps me save time in pool cleaning and maintenance is a win in my book! So easy even my mom can use it. I love how much easier this makes the task of cleaning the pool giving me more time to be in nice clean water, can’t wait for the next pool season.

I’ve been seeing people buying these and was curious how well they worked. They are pretty decent. They are design to facelift your pool, more so to maintain the work you put into keeping it clean. The battery last pretty well, and from what I could tell… I had no leaks. Overall impression was great.

This is one of the newer AIPER models and is in the mid-tier range of pool cleaners available. Overall, I am really impressed with the performance in a few tests so far. The robot has powerful suction and an advanced filtration system that give my pool a full cleaning in less than 90 minutes. It has a lightweight design and an easy-to-clean filter, which are also convenient and great for regular maintenance.

The pool is still frozen over but I tested it out in the bathtub and it seems to work fantastically. It is quite a large unit but it has no issues rolling through across the porcelain of the tub and turning around within that tight space, so I have no worries that it will track across the pool bottom. There is a bottom lever that allows it to know when it is actually submerged and upside right. This allows it to only operate when it is touching the ground floor so there is no worries of turning it on and getting it immediately to the pool like some timer-based one are like.It has a very strong suction and really throws water around. It should pick most of everything up including any leaves and small branches. It has a very wide suction port for those things so we should not have to worry about it clogging up. The inlet is actually attached to the strainer which has quite a large capacity and should accumulate most things. The water than flows to the filter stage where it will assist in removing smaller particles such as algae floc and other gross things. This comes with two extra filters but I figure that one should last the whole Summer if properly taken care of. I suspect you would have to eventually buy more and as of right now, I do not see anywhere on Amazon where to get replacement filters. I have found some external sites through Google but they cost a hefty sum. This filtration is advertised to remove down to 3µm which can be useful in removing fecal particles and nasty bacteria such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium. Those both have sizes ranging in 10 to 20 µm in length and 4.2 to 5.4 µm in diameter (respectively). Unfortunately, these filter wouldn't capture things like E. Coli or viruses. So, stick to the chlorine. When pulling it out of the water, the water inside it drained out very quickly through the front port, allowing the check valve at the inlet to be closed the whole time. Other robots and vacuums I have had, the check valve would not work properly or would stay lodged open, so a lot of the dirt would fall back in the pool. I am not worried with this one.As for the charge, initially it did not take long to charge up so probably had a good charge upon receiving. I cannot comment on how long the charge lasts but if it is different than advertised (130 minutes), I will come back here to edit my review. The ad also claims it will clean up a pool of 1100 square feet or 33 feet in length. Not sure what they mean in length unless they are assuming everyone's pools are square, which that would make sense. 33x33 equals about 1100 square feet. However, most above ground pools are circular and a 1100 sqft pool is actually about 37 to 38 feet in diameter (would have been a better selling point if they'd have pitched it like that). Anyways, I would not be able to attest to this as my pool is only 18 feet diameter at the moment (looking to upgrade next year). So as of right now, this vacuum seems to be a great piece of hardware for any pool owner and I do recommend.Thank you for reading my review! ðŸ™

I am so lucky as to be able to review this Aiper Scuba E1Aiper is one of the top robotic pool vacuums on the market, this is not just my opinion but supported by multiple reviews and vids that can seen all over social media. This Scuba E1 is the top of the line robotic pool cleaners Aiper offers for above ground pools, I have a 24' diameter above ground pool with a sloped bottom, that equates to about 500 sq/ft of area, this Scuba E! is rated way above my pool size needs, so I expect to have a very enjoyable and minimal physical maintenance workload this upcoming springIt is so simple to use, and has a good sized debris basket and a decent flow filter that can easily been cleaned with a spray of your hose. I wouldn't use this E1 to clean my pool at season start up because of the volume of leaves I accumulate, but weekly maintenance is what this E1 is for. No more connecting vacuum heads, poles and hoses. Just charge it, press the button and away it goes, if you need to do your pool twice so what, it is 100 times easier than manual skimmer vacuumingThis E1 is only a floor cleaner, but it will do exactly what I want to cut down on my pool maintenance time next seasonAnd on top of that it looks great!Very pleased , look up some YT vids if you want to see more functionality, but this E1 unit is great for small above ground pools and is a great price for the relaxation time you will gain

The AIPER Scuba E1 is a nice mid budget pool floor cleaner that performs very well. It is surprisingly powerful, though it still struggles on a totally uncleaned pool. It excels at maintenance though, so do a bit of cleanup first before putting the E1 to work. Pair it with a surface skimmer for easy ongoing maintenance.

I have used AIPER pool cleaners in the past and they are definitely one of the better brands on the market for true cordless pool vacuums as this is the main product they make.I needed a new pool vacuum and I came across this AIPER Scuba E1 pool vacuum. The pool vacuum arrived very well-packaged and included a very informative user manual. This vacuum comes with a special professional bottom brush that is very efficient in cleaning the bottom of the pool. Unlike some of Aiper's more expensive vacuums, this one does not clean the walls but mainly the bottom which is usually more than sufficient for keeping your pool clean. There is a large 3.6 Liter filter basket that holds any debris that is vacuumed up and is more than large enough to clean your entire pool. There is also a micro filter that filters out particles as small as 3 micrometers to help keep the water clear and clean. This vacuum charges very fast in about 2 hours and gives you 130 minutes of run time which is more than enough to clean most pools. They recommend this for above-ground pools but it can be used with inground pools as well. One thing I really like is how light this vacuum is. This makes it very easy to lift out of the pool. Other vacuums I have used are very difficult to lift out of the pool.Like all AIPER pool vacuums the quality of this vacuum is great and it is very well made with a lot of thought into its design.Cleaning the debris basket is very easy. You just open it up and clean it.This does a great job of cleaning and is perfect for above-ground pools. The price is very fair and I do recommend it.

This robotic pool cleaner is a game-changer for anyone with an above-ground pool! Its tri-motor system ensures powerful suction, while the advanced filtration works wonders to remove debris from your pool, leaving it sparkling clean. I love that it’s cordless, making it super convenient and easy to use without worrying about tangled cords. It’s perfect for pools up to 1,000 square feet, and it does an excellent job of cleaning both the floor and walls. The cleaner runs quietly, and it’s so easy to set up and operate. A must-have for pool owners looking to save time and effort on pool maintenance!
