These will class up any drum you put them in. I had a project with a kit I took the wrap off of. They were a 1 to 1 match (used calipers to determine they were the right fit) and they work great. They look great. They cost a lot, but I think it's worth it. If you're going to do a project, go ahead and do it right.

Good quality metal, good threading and smooth fit, No burrs or scratches. I sure they are used on the higher end Pearl Symphonic snare drum. Used it to restore a ‘62 Slingerland RadioSonic (I think). I put the vintage badge to the inside just because.

I am disappointed that these came in and the gasket for the air vent is hard plastic. The only type I have ever seen or used are a dense rubber so it will conform to the curvature of the shell when tightened down and also not create a buzz the way plastic will. I hope Ace has something that will work.

They work fine but need a way to mount with curved fittings to match shell.
